Finally Officials Announcement of Google OS. After a long awaiting time Google has conformed about Google Chrome operating system. This open source OS is a new operating system of company and completely different project than Android mobile phones OS. Google Chrome OS is an open source, fast, light weighted operating system and initially be targeted at netbooks.
According to Google, Google Chrome OS open source will be available later this year and Google Chrome OS enabled net books will hit the market in second half of year 2010.
Some specifications of Google Chrome OS are as follows:
- Speed, simplicity and security are the key aspects
- Linux karnel based
- Minimal user interface
- Run on x86 and ARM chips
- Designed for people who spend a lot of time on web

Great! This is a great news for user like me so I don't have to buy from the "RICH GUY"! Because, Google will decrease my cost to buy OS for my internet Cafe.
Hope soon Google will really release this Operating System.

This is a great news, good for all consumers. We have now a lot of options, Linux Ubuntu is doing good plus if Chrome will finally realize and release, that would be very great! I have heard from other sources that it will be released as opensource.Another free for all of us! We just hope it will materialize.
