How to Optimize Firefox for Broadband?

ADVERTISEMENTS

Couples of days, i my self suffered the low browsing speed in Firefox in broadband connection. Actually, in default Firefox is optimized for dial up connection. If you wanted to optimize with DSL or cable or broadband connections. You need to edit the config file in the Firefox.

Alternative Tips :

  • Type about:config in the address bar and click enter.
  • Then enter network.http in the fliter box and you can see the following page like below.

  • Search for ‘network.http.pipelining’ and set the value to true.
  • Search for 'network.http.pipelining.maxrequests’ the default value 4. Change with 15 is an ideal value.
  • Search for ‘network.http.proxy.pipelining’ and set the value to true.
  • For creating the new integer, Right click on the page and select New->Integer. Enter nglayout.initialpaint.delay and then click ok. Set the integer value of this to 0 and click ok
Now, you can feed the difference in Firefox by using in broadband because, sometimes, it's happened slow downing the browsing and start-up.
