Making Internet Marketers Credible

ADVERTISEMENTS

We the Internet Marketers use Twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon, Facebook, and LinkedIn often. We market products and services with full efforts. But at the end of the month when people ask us what did you do last month? We have no answers.

There are no defined performance criteria and metrices, and we face the same problem again and again. More to that Google Analytics, Alexa.com, Compete.com etc don’t show the real picture. The numbers are always lower than actual. This adds more pain.

URL shortners solve some problem. They show us the clicks on the short URLs and other site level statistics too. But what they miss is the actual click from my short URLs. What I mean here is – if five of us shorten a long URL, we all get the same short URL. The clicks number shown is the total clicks the article got, and there is no way to measure the effectiveness of each individual marketer.

I am happy to tell you that I found a solution. NXY.IN is a URL shortener that has personalized URL shortening. When I log in through Twitter and shorten, the short URL is unique and with confidence I can say that the number of clicks that is shown for the short URL has come from my effort.
I like concept behind this application. There is also a facility to see total clicks for each marketer and we can always show this statistics to others.

Many people seem to use the NXY shortened URL to Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Facebook and Twitter. I feel using for Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn makes good sense.
Buzzom Feed Management can be used to post NXY shortened feeds to Twitter. Once set-up, the Buzzom Serivce will take care of taking the feed, shortening with NXY (getting personalized URL) and posting it to Twitter. This is just awesome.

I see people participating in becoming the Top marketer in NXY.IN. Leplan and V_Shakthi are the current Top 2. The list is shown in the NXY homepage.
Are you the best Internet Marketer? Test yourself at NXY.
