Until now they are still on Brain Storming stage. Thinking ways on how they can effectively monetize Twitter without compromising its users. That's why the deal is a win, win situation, as what the old adage goes, " Two is better than one". If they both work together, it will enable TWITTER to move up, step higher. About its CEO, it is natural if they felt that way. It's indeed hard to lose your precious baby, when you are the one who is nursing it from the beginning until it becomes a hit. However, I don't think that would be the case. I believe that the twitter CEO still have the power if the deal eventually made.
